About Victoria

I’m a certified clinical sexologist and sexuality educator with nearly a decade of experience in sexual and reproductive health. I started this work in 2016, teaching sex education in schools, colleges, and community spaces before shifting my focus to adult coaching and education.

Working at an adult toy store deepened my understanding of pleasure education and showed me just how many people were seeking shame-free, informed support around their sexuality. That experience led me to sex coaching, where I now work with adults—helping individuals, couples, and groups explore pleasure, intimacy, and sexual liberation in ways that feel right for them. My approach is trauma-informed, rooted in Black feminism and intersectionality, and centers LGBTQIA+ experiences.

The Birth of Create The Erotic

In 2020, I made the decision to create my own platform, "Yes with Vic," as a result of constantly sharing my personal and professional experiences with sexual and mental health with friends. I became a trusted source of information within my chosen community, and I wanted to provide a space where I could share personal stories, experiences of others, and valuable resources for people to learn and grow. My dedication was focused on raising awareness that sexual health and mental health are interconnected, and I hosted workshops for youth and young adults to foster this understanding. However, I encountered obstacles while attempting to build this platform. In 2023, I realized that “Yes (Your Education Source) with Vic” no longer reflected who I was or where I stood in life. Initially, I focused on the basics of public sex ed, topics like birth control, STI testing, and menstrual cycles, but over time, I became more sexually liberated. I had been trying to make my work in sexual health more acceptable, playing it safe by avoiding topics like BDSM, kink, sex work, and queerness, and I realized I was still hiding my true erotic self.

While living abroad and after being accepted into Sex Coach U, I started to feel ready for a shift. During a train ride to the "Black Venus" exhibit in London, a showcase of black women-identified people in their most authentic forms, with powerful quotes from Audre Lorde, Alice Walker, and Bell Hooks, I began brainstorming new ideas. The exhibit mirrored my inner feelings and inspired me to create a similar space for others. I noticed that, while YES with Vic had been an important foundation, what truly liberated me and brought me joy was embracing my deepest desires and connecting with people who shared my identity as a queer, Nigerian-American sexuality educator and sex coach. I realized that the intersection of my identity made my approach to this work unique, but Iwasn’t seeing spaces for my community—queer people, especially African sapphic individuals, don’t have enough places to exist erotically. And they don’t have many sex coaches to guide them.
